Max Spann, Jr. C.A.I. is a partner and President of the Max Spann R.E. & Auction Co. Mr. Spann is the past President of the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers (NJSSA), and has over 25 years of intense and diverse experience in commercial and residential real estate as a broker, developer, site acquisition officer, and, marketing executive. During his career he has purchased and managed development of thousands of residential units and millions of square feet of various commercial space types on behalf of various entities. His multi-faceted experience includes acquisition, tenant/landlord representation, financing, development, asset management and commercial leasing.
He is widely recognized as a major authority within the auction industry on marketing real estate at auction and is regularly quoted in major newspapers, radio, television and through various professional publications. He regularly lectures at professional seminars for various builder, auctioneer, Realtor, attorney and other professional organizations. Mr. Spann is an innovator in accelerated auctioning marketing establishing precedents in new home sales multi-parcel auctions, sealed bid offerings, simulcast auctions, etc. Having conducted the first TDR auction in the nation, his auction methodology was the subject of a doctoral land use study of the purchase and sale of transfer development rights.
Prior to joining Max Spann Auction Co., Mr. Spann, was a regional Vice President of a national auction company and was directly involved in the sale of over a $500 million dollars of real estate on the behalf of developers, lending institutions and various governmental institutions.
Mr. Spann is a graduate of Fairfield University, a graduate of the New York University School of Real Estate, a Certified Auctioneer Institute graduate, the New Jersey State representative of the Auction Action Network, and, graduate of the Missouri Auction School. He is on the Board of Directors of a regional bank with over a billion dollars of assets. In addition he is a member of National Auctioneers Association, National Association of Realtors, Board Director of the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers, ICSC, BOMA, NAIOP and the National Home Builders Association.
Robert Dann is Executive Vice President and Operations Director for Max Spann Auction Company. Mr. Dann oversees and coordinates all aspects of the auction marketing/campaign process and directs the sales team personnel. Specifically, his responsibilities include: Management of the inside Sales Staff, Marketing, Coordination of Open Houses and Auction Logistics.
Supporting his role as Operations Director, Mr. Dann has seven years of experience in construction/property management and 22 years experience in sales marketing. Mr. Dann is a New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania licensed real estate salesperson, a Pennsylvania and Florida Licensed Auctioneer and a member of the National Realtors Association.
Mr. Dann has sold hundreds of properties at auction and is a member of the board of trustees for the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers, a member of the National Auctioneers Association and Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and an Accredited Auctioneer of Real Estate (AARE). Mr. Dann is a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Marketing Concetration. Earle R. Steeves III is a Vice President, and Broker Associate of Max Spann Real Estate Co. in Clinton, New Jersey. His recent experiences include the evaluation, listing, marketing, and sale of real estate. He is also recognized as a specialist in financial and business consulting.
Earle Steeves has over 25 years of experience in farm finance and real estate, including 20 years as President and CEO of Farm Credit of North Central Jersey, ACA, a cooperative agricultural financial institution with over $160 Million in outstanding loans. His experience includes appraising numerous farm and residential properties, as well as financing, and in many cases the sale of farm and residential properties. He has completed various real estate appraisal courses and has been a member of the Farm Credit Appraisal Society.

Jeffrey Freireich Managing Director Business Development. Freireich, has extensive experience and expertise in the real estate industry, focuses on expanding Max Spann’s operations into New York City and its suburbs.
Freireich was affiliated with the Kushner Companies for more than 20 years as an owner and partner, responsible for real estate land acquisitions, development, entitlements and general operations. Under his direction, the company expanded to became one of the largest real estate owners and developers in the Northeast. He also develops real estate as a principal of Terra Compass Group in Roseland, N.J.
Freireich received his M.B.A. in finance from New York University Graduate School of Business, and his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. He served for eight years as a member of the Planning Board of Livingston, N.J., and served on the Land Use and Planning Committee of the New Jersey Builders Association, Community Builders Association of New Jersey, National Association of Home Builders, Board of Governors of Cathedral Healthcare Systems, Urban Development/Mixed Use Council of the Urban Land Institute.

Mr. McDonald is Regional Director of Business Development for the Max Spann Real Estate & Auction Co. Mr. McDonald has over 20 years of diverse experience in residential and commercial real estate as a builder, developer, land acquisition/ disposition specialist, and sales/marketing executive. During his career, Mr. McDonald has purchased, entitled, built and managed the development of hundreds of residential units and numerous award-winning resort communities on behalf of various entities. His multi-faceted experience includes land acquisition/ disposition, financing, product design/development, site improvements, asset management, sales, marketing, homeowner association management and commercial leasing.
Mr. McDonald is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a concentration in Architecture. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey. Norman Zimmer is Reorganization Division Manager on the Max Spann Auction Team and leads the Bankruptcy and Reorganization initiative. His responsibilities include assisting with e-marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and individual client sales. Mr. Zimmer has twenty years experience in CRM database systems, corporate website coordination, business systems consultant, and business development manager.
Mr. Zimmer has a B.S. from the University of Hartford and M.B.A from Fordham University. Norman is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and Turnaround Management Association (TMA). He is a New Jersey licensed real estate broker and salesperson and a Pennsylvania licensed real estate salesperson.
Mabel Raymond is Project Manager for Max Spann Auction Company. Mabel helps organize phases of auctions as well as assist with marketing and sales initiatives. She assists with outreach to the community with regards to press relations and day to day facets of auction operations.
